Saturn is the 2nd largest planet in this solar system. It is the sixth planet from the sun. The word 'Saturn' was named after the Roman titan king called kronos. Saturn has the famous rings, which are not completely solid. It is actually tiny bits of frost and rocks pulled by the gravity of Saturn. There is no proven life on Saturn as it's too cold and too far away from the sun. Saturn has 62 moons which as confimed by scientists that they were all in orbit of Saturn.

The planet is sometimes refereed to a 'gas giant' because it is mainly made of gas.
